Westcon-Comstor Apprenticeships 2019

Role: Westcon-Comstor is a value-added technology distributor of category-leading solutions in Security, Collaboration, Networking and Data Center. They are looking for a total of 10 new apprentices to join their team.

Location: Bracknell, UK

Junior Network Engineer Apprenticeship

Role: Our client is looking for 2x Junior Engineers who have the experience of core networks and mobile to join their team and be trained to deliver a programme of professional services to their customers. The role will include field and in-house duties and you must hold a full UK driving licence. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Physical Installation of servers, routers and switches into data-centre environments.
  • Deployment and Configuration of physical and virtual hosts.
  • Installation and configuration of virtual hosting environments.
  • Support Field Engineers and other internal departments as required.

Business Administration (Account Management) Apprenticeship

Role: Have you got passion, drive, good communication skills and a positive outlook? Would you love to earn while you learn and achieve a Level 3 qualification? If so this apprenticeship could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will be part of an enthusiastic and busy team responsible for maintaining the Company’s standards. The successful candidate will enjoy providing a high level of customer service and have good organisation and communication skills. The role will provide you with a sound knowledge of healthcare recruitment, build business knowledge and become a stepping stone into the ever-growing healthcare recruitment industry. Some of the roles key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining successful relationships with clients in order to maximise vacancy receipt opportunity.
  • Achieve agreed non-financial KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) & achieve agreed financial targets of Divisional GM (General Manager).
  • Communicating immediately with the client if an issue arises and working with both the Recruitment Consultants and client contacts to provide satisfactory solutions to booking problems.
  • Working closely with Recruitment Consultants to gain CV submissions and build internal relationships to develop and achieve the maximum submission possible.

IT Helpdesk Apprentice

Role: The company we are recruiting for are a large international company. You would be joining a team responsible for IT support for the individual business, where you will be trained to the highest standards and gain experience working with a highly skilled team to develop you. This is much more than answering service desk calls and password resetting, you will be involved with a wide range of exciting technology and hardware. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1st line helpdesk support to 200 users across 10 locations.
  • Support and maintain laptops, desktops, iPhones, and peripherals.
  • Setup and deploy new user devices.
  • Assist with project implementation.

Recruitment Consultant Apprenticeship (Doctors)

Role: The role of Trainee Recruitment Consultant is to build, maintain and grow gross margin to meet and exceed both individual and divisional targets by placing doctors onto bookings and generating gross margin (GM). The TRC generates gross margin through establishing and maintaining locum relationships; matching Doctors who have relevant qualifications/experience to vacancies and ensuring quality compliance standards are met and maintained in line with the relevant legislation. The role will provide you with a sound knowledge of healthcare recruitment, build business knowledge and become a stepping stone into the ever-growing healthcare recruitment industry. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Registering new candidates that are relevant to current and/or future client needs and who have relevant experience and availability to work within an appropriate timescale.
  • Meeting doctors to establish relationships and collect key compliance documents and establishing and recording the doctors availability for work on a regular basis.
  • Following up on leads of recommendations/candidate referrals.

Recruitment Consultant Apprenticeship (Nurses)

Role: The role of Trainee Recruitment Consultant is to build, maintain and grow gross margin to meet and exceed both individual and divisional targets by placing nurses onto bookings and generating gross margin (GM). The TRC generates gross margin through establishing and maintaining locum relationships; matching nurses who have relevant qualifications/experience to vacancies and ensuring quality compliance standards are met and maintained in line with the relevant legislation. The role will provide you with a sound knowledge of healthcare recruitment, build business knowledge and become a stepping stone into the ever-growing healthcare recruitment industry. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving agreed non-financial KPIs & agreed financial targets of net new business and time sheeted GM.
  • Registering new nurses that are relevant to current and/or future client needs and who have availability to work within an appropriate timescale.
  • Negotiating and/or confirming pay rates with candidates per each vacancy submission.
