Cyber Security Intusion Analyst Level 4

GK Apprenticeships are recruiting on behalf of Rightcue Assurance and we are looking for ambitious and dedicated Cyber Security Apprentice’s. Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, Since 2009, RightCue has been providing gold standard cyber security services to companies across a range of sectors including technology, legal, defence, public sector, finance, education, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, charity and marketing. IT Technical Sales Apprentice

Responsibilities of this role:

1. To support the work of the MIS & Exams Team, including work relating to data compliance, reporting, exams administration and systems maintenance and development..
2. To work towards the achievement of a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship (with our partners at GK Apprenticeships).
3. To support the day to day activities of the Systems and Reporting requirements of the MIS team, helping to support the production and automation of curriculum and Examination processes.
4. To assist in the day-to-day operation of WAES main Centres providing support to curriculum teams, maintaining high customer service to internal groups.
5. To assist in the maintenance of both electronic and manual filing systems, including course and learner records to ensure effective access and retrieval of records.
6. To assist in processing the register and timetable systems and support the production of reporting for these areas.
7. To be an active member of the exams team, providing systems and reporting support, combined with some administrative tasks.

Apprentice Fibre Install Engineer


We are currently looking for six apprentices who will be taught how to install an FTTP network, both residential and commercial. During their training, the role holder will be tasked but not limited to, installing, proving and testing the Fibre network within existing PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access). This will include both underground and overhead (Poles) installation of fibre cable, and troubleshooting/fault finding and quality auditing.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed installation and auditing of a residential fibre network in line with the engineering specifications.
• Attending customers premises and championing our company brand.
• Utilise various deployment methods available (OH/UG)
• Understanding existing fibre optic network infrastructure including ducts and poles.
• Completing a quality job ensuring the customer is left satisfied with our service.
• Identifying customers routing and reviewing proposed methods of construction to ensure that all requirements are compliant.
• Completing all necessary steps to build a network to Connect Fibre and PIA specification.

Apprentice IT Service Desk Engineer


As an Apprentice IT Service Desk Engineer, you’ll learn how to provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to clients via the telephone and using remote tools.

You will start off as a Level 2 Engineer and work towards becoming a Level 3 Engineer during your apprenticeship. You will take ownership of incidents and requests which cannot be solved immediately by first level support.

Some of your duties will include:

- Providing desktop, laptop and other user device support
- Handling breaks/fixes, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations and hardware repairs
- Delivering services in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Working towards leading and taking responsibility for technical matters

We are currently recruiting for an MAS Technician Apprentice to join their team (Home Based with potential travel). The Level 3 Information Communication Technician apprenticeship programme that we are offering, will allow you to kick-start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational.

First Line IT Support Engineer Apprenticeship – Level 3

You will assist one of our National Security accounts in support of securing our client’s digital estate in Gloucestershire. We will provide you with the skills you need to build a foundation of knowledge, on which you can build and grow. Just a few things you could be helping us with include:
• Analyse test objectives to design and prepare a test plan that aligns with a test strategy.
• Design and build test cases, test scripts/procedures, and define expected results to meet the test scope coverage criteria.
• Conduct a variety of different software test types (i.e., functional, non-functional, white box/structural and change-related), implementing and interpreting test scripts using agreed methods and standards.
• Conduct and support testing at different test levels (e.g., unit testing, component integration testing, system testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing).
• Conduct testing activities on software applications (i.e., desktop, embedded, mobile, web) to detect defects and demonstrate the software is fit for purpose.
• Raise defects in line with organisational policy at any point in the test process and progress them through to successful completion.
