Recruitment Consultant Apprenticeship (Doctors)

Role: The role of Trainee Recruitment Consultant is to build, maintain and grow gross margin to meet and exceed both individual and divisional targets by placing doctors onto bookings and generating gross margin (GM). The TRC generates gross margin through establishing and maintaining locum relationships; matching Doctors who have relevant qualifications/experience to vacancies and ensuring quality compliance standards are met and maintained in line with the relevant legislation. The role will provide you with a sound knowledge of healthcare recruitment, build business knowledge and become a stepping stone into the ever-growing healthcare recruitment industry. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Registering new candidates that are relevant to current and/or future client needs and who have relevant experience and availability to work within an appropriate timescale.
  • Meeting doctors to establish relationships and collect key compliance documents and establishing and recording the doctors availability for work on a regular basis.
  • Following up on leads of recommendations/candidate referrals.

Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship

Role: The primary purpose of this role is to provide proactive and reactive ICT and audio visual support to clients and client sites via telephone, remote access and site visits where necessary. The post holder will initially field support requests received by the company’s helpdesk and is expected to progress over time to assist team members with a wide range of ICT support activities at both the main company office and client sites gaining valuable experience and expertise. Some of the future duties include:

  • Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting client network and infrastructure (switches, servers etc)
  • Creating, maintaining and monitoring user accounts, user areas and the application of appropriate user security permissions
  • Assisting in the delivery of training at events and to small groups at client sites
  • Assisting with the planning, management and delivery of new ICT and AV installations/solutions at allocated sites

Junior IT Network Engineer Apprenticeship

Role: Our client requires 2 Junior IT Network Engineers who have the experience of core networks and mobile to join the team and be trained to deliver a programme of professional services to their customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Physical Installation of servers, routers and switches into data-centre environments 
  • Installation and configuration of virtual hosting environments 
  • Deployment and Configuration of physical and virtual hosts 
  • Integration and test of services 
  • Migration and roll-out 
  • Support Field Engineers and other internal departments as required

IT, Web & Telecoms Apprenticeship

Role: Our client is an award-winning, FTSE 250 multi-utility supplier with a unique route to market. Some people say that they're the biggest company you've never heard of. Unlike the big utility suppliers, they don't waste money on expensive advertising campaigns. Instead, they rely on happy customers telling their friends and family about how great they are! Your day to day role will be to build brand loyalty by taking ownership of technical issues and providing consistently unique customer experiences. You’ll speak to around 30 customers a day, providing solutions on Home Phone, Broadband, Fibre and Mobile products - using some of the newest technologies on the market. This will include:

  • Troubleshooting PSTN faults like no dial tone or noisy lines.
  • Learning to set up and troubleshoot wired or wireless broadband connections.
  • Troubleshooting and providing solutions on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies, including 802.11 G, N and AC routers.
  • Looking to resolve any issues with 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks.
  • Learning how to understand Broadband networking (Copper/Fibre) and Voice (Digital lines/VOIP).

Telecoms Technical Support Engineer Apprenticeship

Role: Our client develops solutions for companies who want to keep pace with technology and the complexities associated with succeeding in today’s business arena with a strategic focus on fixed lines, broadband and hosted telephony systems. They're looking for someone to join their team, working in both desktop support and supporting their engineers and coordinators out in the field. Some of the day to day tasks you'll find yourself doing include:

  • Installing and configuring computer & telecoms hardware, operating systems and applications.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Liaising with our field engineers to ensure they are fully supported on site. 
  • Talking staff & clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
