Apprentice Level 4 Project Manager

Role: GK Apprenticeships are extremely happy to be working with Browse Bion. Browse Bion work on a number of large projects including Docklands Light Railway, London Underground, MTR Crossrail and Network Rail sites. With the skills gained during a placement, candidates could become a permanent member of the team or continue their career elsewhere with this great qualification. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting the directors in the delivery of large projects in Central London, assisting in project handovers and liasing with the customers.

Level: L4 in Associate Project Management.

Telecoms Technician Apprenticeships at Heathrow

Role: As an Apprentice Telecoms Technician, you’ll support the smooth running of Heathrow Airport. You’ll learn how to fix problems in a range of environments, from terminal buildings and communications rooms, to departure lounges and airside environments. The apprenticeship will include, but is not limited to, gaining exposure to IP Telephony solutions, testing infrastructure, understanding mobility solutions, including WI-FI, Radio and Cellular, and providing technical support.

Location: Longford, Hounslow TW6.

Level: Level 3 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles, ITIL Foundation qualification, and your ICND1 and ICND2 qualifications.

Technology Sales Executive Apprenticeship

Role: As a Technology Sales Executive, you will help to maximise sales of Tech Data’s IT solutions. During your training, you will achieve accreditation from some of the UK’s leading technology providers, act as the first point of contact for customers, develop new sales opportunities and achieve targets, and much more. We’re eager to hear from individuals who’ve worked as, or would like to become, a Junior Sales Representative, Trainee IT Sales Consultant, IT Sales Advisor or Trainee Account Manager. No previous experience is needed to be considered for the role.

Service Desk Analyst Apprenticeship

Role: This is a 15 month apprenticeship where you will be working in the Global Client Response Center which is the single point of contact for all email, phone and customer portal communication from CenturyLink clients. The Service Analysts are part of the Global Client Response Centre, and are responsible for first level customer support, triage and case management. This includes: Accepting incoming calls and gathering information to understand the customers’ requirements. Identifying correct escalation points and following escalation processes. Carry out first line troubleshooting and resolution where possible. Manage a queue of cases ensuring regular follow ups and timely updates to clients. 

Location: Wharfedale Road, Winnersh, Wokingham, RG41 5TP.

Level: Level 3 in IT Systems and Networking.

IT Service Desk Analyst Apprentice

Role: As a Service Desk Analyst you will provide a single point of contact to the organisation for information technology related problems; Assist business customers with telephone, email or trouble ticket enquirers, to resolve or escalate IT systems issues and problems. Total Computers is a well-established provider of IT services and products. Total Computers supply any IT hardware and software you care to think of – with the logistical capabilities, configuration, deployment and disposal services you’d expect from a major IT provider. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide first line support for any information technology issues and problems, track issues to resolution and quickly and accurately determine incident scope and impact.

Location: Kettering, NN15 6FD.

Level: Level 3 Infrastructure Technician.

ICT Professional Apprenticeship

Role: The Valuation Office Agency is an executive Agency of HM Revenue and Customs, providing the public sector with property valuations. You will primarily be undertaking a role in our Service Desk; answering enquiries by phone and e-mail, administering user logons and passwords, supporting users in the use of IT equipment and new digital applications, resolving or escalating requests for support with software and hardware, and supporting users in their use of desktop applications, printing and digital services. We support staff and customers across England, Scotland and Wales, so accurately finding out what the problem is and then working with your IT colleagues to find a solution is key to this role.

Unified Communication Technician Apprenticeship

Role: GK Apprenticeships are extremely happy to be working with AVT Systems. AVT has been providing specialist services to the financial sector for over 20 years and continues to gain momentum in this ever changing environment. The successful candidates will join the engineering team at AVT and will be trained as a Unified Communications Technician (Level 3). This will involve a combination of on-the-job training and online modules. AVT will also arrange additional training courses with specific manufacturers of the equipment they support. At the conclusion of your apprenticeship programme, you may be offered a permanent position based on the successful completion apprenticeship.

Level: Level 3 Unified Communications Technician

Apprentice Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Role: To develop, support and maintain Arqiva’s corporate Business Intelligence Estate. To provide effective support and design-leadership to Arqiva’s BI Super-User community. To provide data for use by the rest of the central BI team and the super-user community. To drive insight into Arqiva’s data by leveraging the latest technology in data discovery and advanced analytics. The apprenticeship will combine formal training with on the job training. You will also be required to achieve a suitable level of knowledge as part of your ongoing development. Following the end of your apprenticeship you will be able to enter onto the register of, IT technicians confirming SFIA level 3 professional competence.

Level: Level 4 Apprenticeship in Software Development.

Apprentice Civil Engineer

Role: Arqiva's Telecoms division generates most of its revenue through its ability to rent space on its towers to Telecommunication customers. The role of the structural engineer is vital to maximising this revenue stream, in ensuring that Arqiva's towers are used to their full potential. This function is central to Arqiva's growth strategy for the next 10 years. During the apprenticeship you will combine formal training with on the job training supported by your relevant teams. Throughout the apprenticeship you will be required to achieve a suitable level of knowledge as part of your ongoing development. On Completion of the apprenticeship you will achieve a BSc or BEng civil engineering degree which is accredited by the joint board of moderators. You will also be able to register as a professional engineer with the Engineering council.

Level: Level 6 Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering.

Apprentice Field Services Technician

Role: To provide design, operational, maintenance and build support to a range of broadcast, telecommunications systems and networks across the operational region. Apprentices will combine formal education with on the job training supported by local mentors. They will complete a Level 4 Diploma or Foundation Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering to provide underpinning technical knowledge and understanding and a Level 4 Vocational Competence diploma to demonstrate their professional competence in their work. As part of the Level 4 programme you will work towards a Foundation Degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering.

Level: Level 4 Diploma or Foundation Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Apprentice Project Manager

Role: As part of your Level 4 Project Management Apprenticeship you will Primarily be responsible for assisting in the delivery of projects within Fugro. Assist with monitoring contractual compliance regarding cost, schedule, specification and deliverables on assigned projects. May have responsibility for management of smaller projects under supervision by more senior staff, and/ or managing packages of work on larger projects, reporting to a Project Manager.
