IT Development Coach

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly engaged experienced Development Coach for IT and Telecoms. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected and evolving company who are passionate about apprenticeships, and to be involved in the training of apprentices of today for the workforce of tomorrow. 
We need someone who is customer focused, forward thinking, creative, supportive and who possesses a strong work ethic, and has a healthy attitude to assisting our learners to achieve their goals. Within the role you can expect to:

  • Provide work based learning and development services to apprentices employed at GKA client sites. 
  • Develop learners to enable them to meet the requirements of their qualification.
  • Assist in processes to ensure that the Quality Assurance of the assessment process is conducted in order to maintain positive EQA feedback 
  • Be able to plan the assessment of occupational competence using a variety of assessment methods  

Location: Home-based role, with travel to client sites on a regular basis.

Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)

Due to growing demand and ongoing success, we’re now looking for an IQA, you will help to maintain our high standards of Apprenticeship programmes we offer all over the country and ensure the quality of GKA Products and services. You must hold an internal quality assurance qualification (D34, A1/A1, TAQA) and be IT literate. Some of the key deliverables include:

  • Quality assurance of learner portfolios for Apprenticeship Standards prior to gateway submission. 
  • Undertake observations of assessment, teaching and learning. 
  • Support standardisation meetings. 
  • Carry out audits of internal processes. 
  • Carry out client and sub-contractor/partner organisation audits. 

Location: Home-based role

Project Management Development Coach

We are looking for a new development coach to join the team. The ideal candidate must be occupationally competent and be able to prove Continual Professional Development (CPD) in the following areas: Project Management, Operations/Departmental Management and Business Analysis. It is also essential to be IT literate, have good time management skills and hold an assessor qualification. Some of the key deliverables include:

  • Being able to plan the assessment of occupational competence using a variety of assessment methods.
  • Assisting in processes to ensure that the Quality Assurance of the assessment process is conducted in order to maintain positive EQA feedback.
  • Ensuring that the learner action planning and review processes are conducted in a timely fashion and in a quality manner.
  • Coaching learners to enable them to meet the requirements of their qualification.

Location: Home-based role, with travel to client sites on a regular basis.
